Is CBD legal?
The U.S. Congress passed a new Farm Bill that makes hemp legal to grow throughout the U.S. Hemp has now been permanently removed from the list of controlled substances regulated by the DEA. Because it is no longer lumped into the same category as marijuana, it is now legal to study all of the many uses of CBD and to create and sell products with hemp extracts such as CBD oil. CBD that is consumed in food and health products is regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. CBD from marijuana (which is not sold here at CBD Remedies) and CBD that contains more than 0.3 percent THC (also not sold on this site) continue to be illegal in the U.S.
Though the Federal laws and State laws can be defined differently, any Hemp extracted CBD products with less than 0.3% THC is considered to be legal and within the threshold of FDA guideline.
