From CBD Remedies to Kind+Life
Our story began in Nebraska in 2017 as CBD Remedies, during the early years of the modern hemp industry.
Since then, thousands of customer conversations have shaped the way we think about cannabis, wellness and service.
We learned that people rarely walk through the door because they want to become experts in cannabinoids. They usually want something much simpler: to sleep, relax, feel better, enjoy themselves, or find a product they can trust.
CBD Remedies evolved into Kind+Life to better reflect that philosophy.
Today, we combine thoughtfully curated products, practical education and genuine human guidance to make shopping for hemp and cannabinoid products easier.

We don’t put a product on our shelves simply because it’s popular.
Kind+Life carefully evaluates the brands and products we carry, with attention to quality, transparency, formulation and third-party laboratory testing.
Our selection includes THCA, CBD, Delta-8 THC, Delta-9 THC, CBG and CBN, with products such as THCA flower, gummies and other edibles, tinctures, topicals, disposables and pet wellness products.
We also develop our own Kind+Life products and formulations, combining product knowledge, customer feedback and scientific expertise.

The hemp industry has changed dramatically since we entered it in 2017, and it continues to evolve.
Our standards haven’t.
We look for appropriate third-party laboratory testing and transparent labeling, and we pay attention to the manufacturers and formulations behind the products we carry.
For intoxicating products, we also believe good information matters. Understanding potency, starting cautiously with unfamiliar products, storing products securely and never driving while impaired are all part of responsible use.
We believe customers deserve to understand what they’re buying—and businesses should be willing to stand behind what they sell.

For Kind+Life, advocacy is part of the job.
Kind+Life owners Andrea Watkins and Dr. Andrea Holmes, Ph.D. have both served in leadership with the Nebraska Healthy Alternatives Association (NEHAA), Nebraska’s trade organization for the hemp-derived products industry. Through NEHAA, we have worked alongside other Nebraska businesses to advocate for responsible access, appropriate standards and a sustainable hemp industry.
When Nebraska hemp businesses faced cease-and-desist actions that threatened the industry, we also helped form the Business Alliance Group (BAG), bringing businesses together to share information, resources and strategy rather than face those challenges alone.
Our involvement reaches well beyond Nebraska.
Dr. Holmes is nationally recognized for her expertise in cannabis and cannabinoid science and has traveled extensively to contribute her scientific expertise to hemp-related legal, regulatory and educational efforts across the United States.
We believe the future of hemp should be shaped by good science, responsible businesses, sensible regulation and informed consumers—not fear or misinformation.
That’s why we continue to show up: in Nebraska, across the industry and wherever education and advocacy can make a difference.

Customers across eligible U.S. states can shop Kind+Life online for many of the same THCA, CBD and hemp-derived cannabinoid products available in our Lincoln location, subject to applicable laws and shipping restrictions.
Our scientific, educational and advocacy work also connects Kind+Life to the broader national conversation around cannabis, hemp, product quality and responsible access.
