Expert Guidance

What is getting in the way of the life you want to live?

You probably didn't come to Kind+Life because you wanted to become an expert in cannabinoids.

You came because you want something to be different.

Maybe you want to slow down. Rest more fully. Feel more comfortable in your body. Leave the day behind when the day is over. Be more present with the people you love.

Maybe you want more room for creativity, connection, curiosity or play.

Or maybe something has changed and you aren't quite sure what to make of it.

At Kind+Life, that's where we start.

Not with CBD.
Not with THC.
Not with a specific product.

With you.

How do you want to experience your life?

Wellness doesn't always begin with something being wrong.

Sometimes it begins by asking what you'd like a little more of.

More rest.

More ease.

More time doing the things you enjoy.

More presence.

More connection.

More creativity.

More life in your life.

REST + RESET

Maybe your mind doesn't shut off when the day does.

Maybe you suddenly find yourself awake at 3 a.m.

Maybe you've forgotten what it feels like to wake up truly refreshed.

Or maybe you're simply trying to create a better transition between go and rest.

What would feeling truly rested make possible tomorrow?

UNWIND + ENJOY

Can your body be sitting on the couch while your brain is still working?

Does it take you a while to shift out of work, caretaking or problem-solving mode?

Do you feel like you always need to be doing something?

Would you like to leave the day behind without checking out of the evening?

Maybe you'd simply like to slow down enough to enjoy dinner, music, a movie, your backyard—or absolutely nothing at all.

What would it feel like to really let the day go?

COMFORT + MOVEMENT

Sometimes what matters most isn't describing how your body feels.

It's remembering what you want to be doing.

Maybe that's getting back on the pickleball court.

Working in the garden.

Taking the trip.

Going for a long walk.

Or simply moving through your day with less attention on your body and more attention on your life.

What would you like to get back to doing?

INNER CALM

Sometimes the world feels louder than you want it to.

Maybe you overthink things.

Maybe your mind has a habit of going straight to what could go wrong.

Maybe you feel “on” long after you want to be off.

Or maybe you're simply looking for more quiet in a very noisy life.

What would it feel like to have a little more space to simply be?

PRESENCE + CONNECTION

Do you ever realize you're physically somewhere—but your mind is already onto the next thing?

Maybe you want to be more present at dinner.

More engaged in conversation.

More connected with your partner.

More available for your kids, your grandkids—or your dog.

Maybe you're looking for new rituals for relaxing, socializing or enjoying an evening.

What would it feel like to be fully present for your own life?

CREATIVITY + FLOW

Not everything we want more of fits neatly under the word “wellness.”

Sometimes we just miss parts of ourselves.

Maybe you have ideas but can't seem to make room for them.

Maybe overthinking gets in the way of writing, painting, designing, gardening, cooking, making music—or whatever creating looks like for you.

Maybe perfectionism keeps turning something joyful into another thing you have to accomplish.

Do you remember what it feels like to become so absorbed in something you love that you lose track of time?

Do you want to feel less like you're producing—and more like you're creating?

MORE LIFE AFTER THE TO-DO LIST

Sometimes the goal isn't accomplishing more.

It's having something left when everything you have to do is done.

Enough for a long walk with the dog.

Enough to play with your kids or grandkids.

Enough to meet friends for dinner.

Work in the garden.

Go somewhere.

Make something.

Or do absolutely nothing without feeling like you should be doing something else.

What would you make room for if you could?

And sometimes something has changed.

Maybe the way you sleep isn't what it used to be.

Maybe you've noticed changes in your energy, concentration, mood, physical comfort or overall sense of well-being.

Maybe midlife brought changes you weren't expecting.

For women, that may coincide with perimenopause or menopause. Men experience changes as they age, too.

These experiences can have many possible explanations, and we don't believe every change in how you feel has a product solution.

Sometimes the right next step is simply better information.

Sometimes it's changing a routine.

Sometimes it's talking with your healthcare provider.

And sometimes you may decide that a wellness product has a place in your life.

Good guidance includes knowing the difference.

You don't need to know what you need.

There is no shortage of information telling us what we should take, what we should try or what supposedly worked for someone else.

But you aren't someone else.

At Kind+Life, we believe good guidance starts with listening.

What's going on?

What has changed?

What have you already tried?

What are you hoping for?

What don't you want to feel?

And how do you want to feel?

Perhaps most importantly:

What would feeling better allow you to do?

Maybe a better day means having enough left for a long walk with the dog, time with your kids or playing with your grandkids.

Maybe feeling more comfortable means getting back on the pickleball court, working in the garden or taking the trip you've been putting off.

Maybe unwinding means sitting on the couch at the end of the day and actually enjoying being there.

Maybe you want to paint again.

Take the trip.

Go out with friends.

Listen to music.

Be present with your partner.

Try something new.

Or simply feel like there's a little more life left after everything you have to do.

That's the life part of Kind+Life.

Sometimes the right next step isn't a product.

We think that's an important part of good guidance.

There isn't a wellness product for every problem—and there shouldn't be.

How you feel can be influenced by many things, and sometimes a change deserves more attention than a wellness store can provide.

If something is new, persistent, severe or concerning—or you simply aren't sure what's going on—talking with an appropriate healthcare professional may be the best place to start.

Other times, you may simply want better information so you can make your own informed choices.

Our goal isn't to find a product for every problem.

It's to help you make a more thoughtful decision about what comes next.

Guidance grounded in science.

Empathy matters.

So does evidence.

Kind+Life's approach is strengthened by the scientific expertise of Dr. Andrea Holmes, a chemist, educator, cannabis scientist and author who has spent years studying cannabinoids and the science behind cannabis and hemp.

Dr. Holmes brings scientific rigor to how we think about cannabinoids, formulations, product development and emerging research.

She also helps us do something we believe is equally important:

Make complicated science understandable in the real world.

Science helps us understand what is known.

Experience gives us context.

Listening helps us understand you.

At Kind+Life, we believe good guidance requires all three.

Thoughtfully Curated. Expertly Guided.

More isn't always better.

That applies to products, too.

We don't believe a wellness store needs hundreds of nearly identical choices.

We'd rather understand why something deserves a place on our shelves.

We consider formulation, ingredients, quality, testing and what is known—and not known—about the products we carry.

And when something doesn't make sense, we ask questions.

Our goal isn't to give you the largest possible selection.

It's to give you a more thoughtful one.
